  • Safe – The greatest advantage of the PVC safety shoes are that they are very safe. They are shock and water proof. They also protect the workers from falling objects, wet or slippery flooring, sharp objects and other hazards. These shoes also protect the feet from molten metal and welding sparks.

  • Superior Resistance - The PVC safety shoes are also resistant to animal fats (especially poultry), acids, oils, greases and chemicals.

  • Health- Protective, safety footwear is essential to ensure safe and healthy feet. The safety shoes protect your bone, your toes and also ankles. Ankle sprains are very common for those who do not wear safety boots. They also help to prevent injuries for workers and reduce the severity of injuries that may occur in the workplace.

Why Use Worker Safety Shoes ???

Worker Safety Shoes

Ever visited an under-construction building site or a unit manufacturing industrial boilers, tanks and similar fabrications? Forget about such scenarios, even in our daily lives, in the confines of our beautiful homes, we wear footwear despite being aware of the non-existent dangers to our foot. Without worker safety shoes, imagine the plight of the workers.

Human body can tolerate pressures and injuries to only a very limited extent and not beyond. And industries of the kinds mentioned above are fraught with dangers like:
·      Materials handled or used by the worker may by itself cause injuries.
·      Objects may fall onto or strike the feet.
·      Material/ equipment or object that might roll onto the feet.
·      Any sharp or pointed objects or part of any material/ equipment that might cut the top or bottom of the feet.
·      Exposure to explosive atmospheres including the risk of static electrical discharges with respect to one’s feet.
·      Injuries to the ankle(s) from treading on uneven surfaces or rough terrain as a part of the job.
·      Injuries to the feet from exposure to extreme temperatures, hot or cold.
·      Injuries to the feet from a slip or fall while moving on slippery surfaces as a part of the job.

The dangers and level of injuries may be on the rise with the rise in number, type of industries as also types of jobs undertaken in terms of complexity. Certain industries never present in India about 2 decades back such as Automotives, heavy engineering, dangerous corrosive chemical manufacturing etc have made life of workmen difficult.

Legal sanction, commercial interest and society’s awareness towards human safety have brought to the fore the need for industrial safety of which the workers safety shoes is the most basic and imperative. With its vast spread of industries in terms of types, size and area covered meant an imperative need for safety shoes in Pune. Also, the general profile of workers irrespective of industries and levels therein, in and around Pune and surrounding industrial areas is largely educated meaning they are well aware of their needs and rights.

Safety shoe manufacturers in pune region like Sara Safety have taken this up in right earnest and brought out a range of shoes meant for specific industries. They have not only stopped at manufacture but gone beyond to do research to understand the exact requirement(s) of their client to give them custom made shoes.

In the interest of workmen, it is imperative that industries which have an obvious element of likely harm to humans (more so their workers) employ the services of safety shoe manufacturers to not only produce shoes but to do an entire exercise of industrial foot safety from the time the worker steps into the premises to the time they reach their residence. This, in addition to making life easy for workers can result in less downtime due to injuries and also be a great PR exercise.

What are Leather Safety Shoes ?

Sara Safety : Leather Safety Shoes

Our country is experiencing an economic boom like never before. This has resulted in an exponential growth in the number of people being employed in industries where inherent danger to life and limbs are a given. When-ever there is a chance of moving machinery and humans coming into close proximity, accidents are not far.

One limb on us humans constantly in the line of danger are our feet. Be it a rolling object, grazing object with protrusions, a grinder or any other object generating heat or normal projections from a machinery, our feet are always in the line of danger.

Increased awareness of the law & the pressure to abide by it and the need to retain a talented work force has meant only one thing. The need to procure and use safety shoes; specifically leather safety shoes given the inherent advantage of leather.

Pune plays its part in industrializing India. Its industrial base is wide with all kinds of industrial activities be it automotives or fabrications or chemicals. Safety shoes figure high on the list of employee safety measures in Pune. Safety shoes manufacturers in pune and safety shoes suppliers in pune now have names like Sara shoes who turn out good products at competitive prices.

Leather safety shoes in addition to giving protection to the foot overall, is also very good for the skin and general health of the foot as leather absorbs and releases air i.e., it breathes air. Foot do not stink nor is there any unnecessary moisture inside the shoe. Leather is also non-inflammable in its natural state while most artificial stuff burn immediately in the presence of fire unless they have anti-inflammatory properties.

Put your feet in safe hands. Use leather safety shoes !!!

Why do we need sports safety shoes?

sports safety shoes
Sara Safety : Sports Safety Shoes

Sports of the physical kinds, whether outdoor or indoor, irrespective of speed are inherently injurious. Even a relatively leisurely sport of golf can cause injuries if the right kind of gear is not worn what to talk of sports like football, basketball, hockey etc. which by their very nature cause injuries.

Add to this new sports like rugby being introduced into India due to globalization. Players get engrossed with the game and do not give much thought to what their limbs go through. Limbs are the reason for the sport, yet these get scant attention during the game as winning and enjoyment takes paramount importance.

Injuries to the foot in most physical sports can be very severe and debilitating and need to be addressed in advance. Issues like safety of the toes, arches, underfoot, ankle joint etc should always be kept in mind before attempting to play the game.

Prevention is always better than cure and given the cost of medical attention, it makes sense to address this in advance rather than suffer the consequence later. Safetyshoes manufacturers in Pune now have the perfect antidote. Sports safety shoes.

These have features which address all parts of the foot like a mesh ling on the inside to give a cushioning effect to the foot. Soles and heels designed to absorb shocks instead of letting it travel into the body. The soles of these shoes are made of substance resistant to slipping on greasy, oily and muddy surfaces. Toes are given special care with a covering of extremely strong and durable substance. Sara Safety, a safety shoes manufacturer and safety shoes suppliers in pune has a range of sports safety shoes.

Comfort, Durable and extremely contemporary in looks, these sports safety shoes are a must for every sportsperson. Do we need to stress any further? Enjoy sports but with sports safety shoes on!

PU Safety Shoes - Your Safety in Your Hands !!!

PU Safety Shoes - Sara Safety
PU Safety Shoes

Polyurethane (PUR and PU) is a polymer composed of a chain of organic units joined by carbamate (urethane) links. While most polyurethanes are thermosetting polymers that do not melt when heated, thermoplastic polyurethanes are also available.

First Otto Bayer and his coworkers at I.G. Farben in Leverkusen, Germany, first made polyurethanes in 1937. Practically every world-class chemical company worth its name as been experimentiong with PU in some form or the other

On a practical note, PU safety shoes has certain advantages over normal material, namely, it can take a lot of harsh treatment under tremendous stress, strain, temperature and all kinds of pressures. The fact that it is used in heavy industries and automotives in critical areas like the engine itself, underscore one fact- it is bloody tough. And dirt cheap as it is made in bulk by practically all the countries the world over.

From the chopping board in our kitchens to our bath mats to seat covers to computer covers, the list seems endless. What then is the secret behind PU’s heavy usage. In two word- Durability and price competitiveness. One field to have fallen flat in love with PU is footwear. PU shoes with animal hides and other organic materials not being available in quantities as required in addition to not being conducive to certain environments and uses, it was but natural that the field was wide open for something which fulfilled all these conditions at an unbelievably low price. Thus came into being PU shoes. Starting as PU soled shoes, it has now in certain cases claimed the uppers as well, not to talk of the inners, midsoles etc. etc, meaning practically the whole shoe, except the foot in it!!

Mind you, PU is not some cheap filler material that one makes shoes from. After extensive research, PU is created as per the need of the shoe and the shoe constructed likewise. PU has thus revolutionized the concept of custom-built footwear from end to end and given the cost factor, made it available to even those section of the populace which otherwise would not have dreamt of wearing them ever! A politician’s best friend, a shoe! Most people would agree given the depths to which politics seems to have fallen! PU shoes are thus here to stay.

Within the realms of the footwear business, it is the tough safety shoe which has benefitted most. Safety shoes have one objective. Protect the foot. Multi-layered  PU soles can make them impervious to climates and corrosive chemicals besides protection from physical dangers like sharp objects and moving tools like grinders and drill bits. The tough steel toe continues though without the steel. It now sports the hardened PU toe doing the same job at lesser price and even lesser weight! Revolution in shoe technology means a breathable, tough PU upper which gives a feel like leather with far less in the name of maintenance and money.

In the Indian context, PU safety shoes have been around for some time though a lot needs to be done. Given the size of our economy and its growth rates, it is but natural that entities like Pune-based Sara Safety shoes which has done extensive work to bring newer products to the market try and bridge the gap.
